Water flow without flap impacts

In a pump station, the return flow of waste water to the pump can cause harmful flap strokes and pressure waves. The TSK non-return flap is a new product in the range of Fromme Armaturen GmbH & Co. KG, which avoids these harmful pressure waves and flap impacts.

The synchro system moves the flap moves very precisely and synchronously with the water flow and closes the non-return flap very quickly and in a controlled manner when the pump is switched off. Because no large masses of water have to come to a standstill as a result, the flap does not strike and does not cause any harmful pressure waves. The TSK-Synchro check valve is controlled by one or two spring packages.

The design of the spring packages is based on the minimum and maximum capacity of the pumps and is preset in the factory to the operating conditions of the system. Fine adjustment on site is possible. This allows the non-return valve to operate independently without the use of hydraulics or pneumatics.

The TSK check valve as part of a system is characterised by low flow resistance, a large inspection cover and a low-maintenance design.

The advantages at a glance:

  • No flap strokes.
  • No harmful pressure waves.
  • Avoidance of damage to the system.
  • 100% free flow.
  • Horizontal and vertical installation.
